Buying Art doesn't have to be intimidating

.... real talk from a real artist. Here’s what I want you to know before you bring a piece home. Honest advice and information which I hope helps you explore and ultimately select that piece of art that connects with you and your home or project.

Not Sure where to start?

Whether you’re decorating a new space or finally treating yourself to something bold and beautiful, buying art can bring up a lot of questions.

No pressure here. Just a few helpful thoughts to make things easier — from one design-lover to another.

Common worries

"Is original art outside my budget?"

Absolutely not!. I offer a range of options — from originals to prints — so you can start where it feels good. You don’t have to spend big to own something meaningful.

"What if I pick the wrong one?"

There’s no wrong choice if you love it. Trust your gut. You'll choose the one that connects

"Will it work in my space?"

Try measuring out the size on your wall. If a piece speaks to you, chances are it’ll fit right in. You can also send me a photo of you wall and I'll drop in some options for you to see

"Can I decide where to hang it later?"

100%. Some collectors start with “this just speaks to me” and figure out the perfect spot afterward. Art can live in different rooms over time — it’s totally flexible.

"Will it still match if I redecorate in a year or two?"

Absolutely. Think of art less like a matching throw pillow and more like a mood anchor. If you connect with the piece, it’ll stay relevant through evolving styles — like a favorite song that always hits, no matter the season

"What if I have super specific questions or need some advice?"

Please ask! Whether it’s about sizing, framing, styling, or picking between pieces — I’m genuinely happy to help. I’ve talked people through everything from color matching to gallery wall planning. No question is too small.

... most importantly, take your time! You do not need to rush a decision.

I am genuinely here to help you find that piece of art that resonates and connects.

If it helps, send me a photo of your wall or project and I will put some ideas together and send them back for you to see. We can toss ideas around as much as you need. I am here to help.

My aim is to make original art available to everyone, and help people find that perfect piece for their home or project that connects.
