The Studio

Steve Hamilton Studio is the central studio for my art practice, built on structure, material integrity and layered construction.

My studio work spans detailed multi-layered stencil botanical studies, cultural portraiture (stencil and mashup / pasteup), abstract compositions and legacy-driven commissions - each united by a disciplined, process-led approach.

The studio operates across four core pillars:

Stencil Botanica™
A structured exploration of native Australian flora through multi-layer stencil construction.

Eternal Editions™
Bespoke, narrative-driven works created as lasting tributes for people and pets.

Pop Culture Art
Cultural and portrait works reinterpreted through controlled stencil layering.

Abstract Works
Form-driven compositions exploring tone, relief and spatial rhythm.

Each pillar reflects a consistent philosophy: construction over decoration. Discipline over excess. Depth over surface.

The Studio also releases Limited Edition originals, framed studio proofs (raw pieces which are straight from the studio), hand embellished prints and once-off pieces throughout the year.  These are strictly limited in quantity.

For 2026 and beyond, I will be adding sculpture and studio objects to the practice - these will add another dimension to my creative work and will not be reproduced.
